The SC Preferred 3 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and wire decking for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Wire decking allows sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks easily, improving fire safety and lowering insurance premiums.
