The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks, enhancing fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and it supports easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
