The SC Preferred™ 4 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" intervals. The shelving is constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The wire decking enhances ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability. Assembly is easy and boltless, requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips, with snap-in components that allow for quick setup and straightforward expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
