The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add On with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, ensuring a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open design allows four-sided access and easy assembly with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips. Additionally, the wire decking facilitates sprinkler water passage, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
