The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the system allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components instead. The shelving includes sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post for a structurally secure joint eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the decking features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
