The SC Preferred 4 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a durable, adaptable structure suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Each shelf level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The unit features open shelves adjustable in 1" increments and easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing structural stability and preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, and the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The decking uses a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminated melamine particle board surface with pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces.
