The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial environments. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing customization according to storage needs. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to create a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides robust support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under load. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the decking features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Particle board ships in two pieces.
