The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable unit features open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments, with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. It includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner post, forming structurally secure joints that prevent back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving unit has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The open design allows four-side access, and the snap-in components enable quick setup and easy expansion by joining units with greater stability using less construction than bolting two starter units together.
