The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner post to form a structurally secure joint preventing back and side sway, and a sturdy roll-formed steel frame with front-to-back supports to prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the laminated decking is 1/2" thick with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface and pre-cut square edging in white; the particle board ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
