The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing adaptability to various heights, widths, and depths. This durable shelving features an open design that allows four-side access and snap-in components for easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking, measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, contribute to durability and ease of maintenance. The particle board ships in two pieces.
