The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Add-On with laminate decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial storage applications, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The adjustable open shelves can be positioned at 1" increments, allowing for versatile configuration. The kit includes sturdy 14 gauge roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, preventing rotation and eliminating back and side sway for structural security. Front-to-back supports enhance beam stability under full load. Assembly is tool-free with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The 1/2" thick melamine surface decking features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel frame and is stain resistant and easy to clean, with pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces. The design allows four-sided access, and various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every storage area, with the capability to easily join multiple units for expansion with greater stability than bolting starter units together.
