The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1800 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility. The shelving unit measures with a 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in a white laminated finish. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beams from rotating under full load. Construction includes double rivet button stud joints locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 GA steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the open design allows four-side access, making expansion simple and stable by joining units together with less construction than bolting starter units.
