The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility space. It features a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, and chip resistant gray baked enamel finish. The shelves feature stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, finished in white laminated surface.
