The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial use, maximizing storage areas with various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the steel, while the 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface decking is stain resistant and easy to clean with pre-cut square edging. The particle board decking ships in two pieces.
