The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various needs. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway, providing a structurally secure joint. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on steel framing, with stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The design allows four-side access and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when loaded. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, facilitated by snap-in components. The particle board decking ships in two pieces. The shelving unit complies with industrial strength standards and includes a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
