The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, it features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to prevent back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. The shelves include a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated finish.
