The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing versatile storage options. The system features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under load, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structural stability, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers with double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and includes stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Warranty terms are provided with the product.
