The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for versatile storage configurations. This durable shelving unit features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and includes stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine laminate decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in a white laminated finish. The unit features easy assembly with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips.
