The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelves are open and adjustable at 1" increments for flexible storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into perimeter beams with double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint to prevent back and side sway. The shelving system has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the laminate decking is a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, finished in white/laminated. Assembly is easy and tool-free with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, featuring snap-in components. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility. The shelving add-on units can be joined for expansion with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The particle board ships in two pieces.
