The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature an easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required. The unit measures with a 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated finish, and the particle board ships in two pieces. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on sturdy roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, including front-to-back supports that help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T-posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. This modular system allows easy expansion by joining units for more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The design offers four side access for maximum flexibility and is suitable for various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every area of your facility.
