The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, industrial, and commercial storage and features a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments to provide sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open shelves offer four-side access and are adjustable in 1" increments, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and pre-cut square edging in a white laminated finish. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Particle board decking ships in two pieces.
