The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking provides durable and adaptable storage for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces with a maximum storage weight of 1800 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated finish. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports helps prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and the add-on unit can be joined with more stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together. The shelving measures vary in height, width, and depth to accommodate nearly every facility area and features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
