The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering durable and adaptable storage with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths for nearly every facility area. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing structural security and eliminating back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish frames sturdy roll-formed steel, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated material.
