The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The durable roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, featuring 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible storage configurations and four-side access. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged steel uprights and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded.
