The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights, punched on 1" centers, combined with double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway while ensuring structural security. The double riveted horizontal beams are adjustable vertically in 1" increments, and the open shelves are also adjustable at 1" increments, allowing flexibility and four-side access. The decking features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface with pre-cut square edges and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the steel components. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components instead.
