The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving starter with laminate decking features a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and is designed for durable and adaptable storage in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customization to fit various storage needs. The shelving offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components. It is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, including front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically in 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and features a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board decking ships in two pieces.
