The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for versatile configuration, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to form a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces. The open design allows four-side access, and assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports provide maximum support and stability.
