The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The unit features sturdy roll-formed 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and include double riveted horizontal beams with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine decking, which measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, provide durability and a clean surface. Assembly is easy with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, using snap-in components for quick setup. Particle board decking ships in two pieces.
