The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add on with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, allowing open shelves to be easily adjustable. The product features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications, with an open design that provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking is 1/2" thick, features pre-cut square edging, and is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The white laminated particle board ships in two pieces, making expansion simple and more stable compared to bolting two starter units together.
