The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. This adaptable unit supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level and features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for customized storage. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving’s roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The assembly is easy, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick set-up and expansion with more stability compared to bolting two starter units together. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
