The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments to fit various heights, widths, and depths suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open design allows four-sided access, providing maximum flexibility, and the kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports enhances stability and prevents beam rotation under full load. The package includes a 1/2" thick stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging, made of particle board shipped in two pieces. Assembly is easy and boltless with snap-in components, requiring no nuts, bolts, or clips. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
