The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into the corner post, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access and the open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments using double riveted horizontal beams. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick, has pre-cut square edging, and ships in two pieces of particle board. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, making expansion simpler and providing more stability when joining units.
