The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed for maximizing storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving unit includes open shelves that adjust at 1" increments, with snap-in components that require no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing, featuring 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, providing structural security and preventing back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish is complemented by the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
