The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for adaptable storage, and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts for a structurally secure joint, preventing back and side sway. The shelving features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white laminate. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports that help prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the unit can be expanded by joining add-ons with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. Particle board ships in two pieces.
