The SC Preferred 4-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving units are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing customizable open shelves for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The decking is a 1/2" thick white laminated melamine particle board with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces. This system offers maximum flexibility with four-side open access and is designed for easy expansion by joining units with increased stability using less construction than bolting two starter units together.
