The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, providing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads, and double rivet button stud construction locks the perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 ga steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface decking, measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, ensure durability. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components for simple set-up and allowing expansion with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting two starter units together. The particle board decking ships in two pieces.
