The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The decking is made of 1/2" thick stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface with a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit's open design allows for access from four sides, offering maximum flexibility.
