The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, along with stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated finish; the particle board ships in two pieces. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Open shelves provide four side access for maximum flexibility, and the open design allows expansion by joining add-on units with more stability and less construction than connecting two starter units. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the chip resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability.
