The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities, capable of supporting a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. The shelves are made with sturdy roll-formed steel framing providing maximum support, and front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjusting vertically at 1" increments. The kit features chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and is white/laminated. The open shelves allow four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with no bolts, nuts, or clips required; components snap in, making expansions simple and more stable than bolting two starter units together. The particle board laminate decking ships in two pieces.
