The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage with adjustable open shelves at 1" increments to maximize your storage area. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the roll-formed steel framing. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under heavy loads and eliminate back and side sway. The white laminated decking is a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface with pre-cut square edging, and the particle board ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
