The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments for flexible organization, and the kit features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, the shelving includes double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish complements the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine laminate decking, which is 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and ships in two pieces.
