The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway and providing a structurally secure joint. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measure 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The package requires easy assembly with snap-in components and no bolts, nuts, or clips. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under loads, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The particle board ships in two pieces.
