The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility, and the unit features easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, using snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into the corner posts, ensuring structural security and eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The decking consists of a 1/2" thick, white laminated melamine surface that is stain resistant and easy to clean, with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
