The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load and double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The shelf includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board that ships in two pieces. The unit's open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility and easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
