The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features open shelves adjustable in 1" increments, constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. The shelving offers easy assembly without bolts, nuts, or clips, featuring snap-in components and an open design allowing four-side access, with various heights, widths, and depths available to accommodate nearly every area.
