The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and includes durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, ensuring a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. The front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelves have a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging and comes in white laminated particle board, which ships in two pieces. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and units can be expanded and joined for added stability with less construction than bolting two starter units together. The frame has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish.
