The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring durable, adaptable, and open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The unit allows four side access for maximum flexibility and can be expanded by joining multiple units with greater stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean 1/2" thick melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated. The particle board ships in two pieces.
