The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial settings, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for versatile configuration. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, providing structural stability and preventing back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing features front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The decking is a 1/2" thick, stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface with pre-cut square edging and ships as particle board in two pieces. The shelving system has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, is designed for four-side access, and comes in various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly any facility space.
