The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable roll-formed steel framing with 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing structural security with double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway. The kit includes open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments, with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design allows four side access, enhancing flexibility, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The shelves are equipped with chip resistant gray baked enamel finishes and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging; the particle board ships in two pieces.
