The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments allowing for adaptable storage, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips as it uses snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full loads and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams securely into the corner post to eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the structure, complemented by stain resistant, easy-to-clean white melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces. The shelving is certified for standard duty applications and complies with relevant commercial storage requirements.
